Make turmeric tea by grating or thinly slicing fresh turmeric root and steeping it in boiling water. Add a dash of ground black pepper to enhance curcumin absorption. I like it with ginger root and raw honey.
Golden milk
A warming drink made by with fresh turmeric, unsweetened almond or coconut milk that can be sweetened with raw honey or jaggery. Add a pinch of cinnamon for extra warmth or a pinch nutmeg to help sleep.

Smoothies, curries, dal
Grate fresh turmeric to your favourite recipe to get the potent prana unlocked and into your body.
Face mask
Mix grated turmeric root with manuka honey or yogurt.
The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties can help reduce skin conditions such as acne or eczema. Mix turmeric with coconut oil or fresh aloe vera gel can reduce skin inflammation.
